My creative space

At  Miss 8's new school it seems the done thing is to give every child in the class an egg for Easter.  I have to say I'm a bit concerned about how much chocolate will be coming home with her on Friday.  It's hard because I really don't want to go along with the crowd but I know that Miss 8 would like to give something to her friends.  So I thought along different lines and bought a packet of organic lollipops and decorated them for her to hand out.  I know they are still full of sugar but I'd rather her hand them out than some of the yukky chocolate I know she'll end up getting. I found the inspiration here for the lollipop covers.

To see what others have been creating, don't forget to stop here.

  7. They look gorgeous. I'm getting Brian to share his eggs (received from others) with Kevin and I. I can't out and out take them away because he'll notice, but the sharing means he is eating less. You could bake a treat using the eggs as the chocolate component?!

  9. They look great Catherine - so good to think of something different. If the kids all gave out those tiny size Easter eggs it wouldn't be so bad I guess, but all those bigger ones start to accumulate :)

  12. Wow Catherine - awesome! She will love giving those to her friends!! Is the pink egg a stamp? You're very clever, that's all I seem to ever say on this blog. You inspire me constantly.

  15. They're super sweet!
Last Christmas I was shocked by the quantity of red candy canes my son bought home from kindy. It was totally ridiculous... and very stressful for me as he is particularly sensitive to the red food colouring. Ahhhh!!!
I was actually thinking the other day that I'm going to make gingerbread men for him to give to the children in his class this year.
